Bainbridge Island continues to be a haven for artists and foodies, and its natural beauty attracts visitors young and old. Far from its busy downtown, the Blakely Harbor area is a lesser-known oasis of tranquility. Dahlias grow well on the island, and this little stand located next to the meditative grounds that house a walkable spiral and a Buddhist bell of peace, has grown from a simple cart to the colorful destination it is today. My most popular work is my limited editions — they are matted out in pebble white to 12 x 16.
